Profile

Tricia Ravalico is currently the Director of Scientific Leadership for Abbott Diagnostics Division (ADD) with oversight over Abbott’s scientific partnerships and collaborations across ADD global marketing.  She leads Abbott’s global education workshop strategies and projects that span stakeholder partnerships across care continuums.

She was formerly the Associate Director of Medical Research for Abbott Diagnostics, Medical Affairs where she had oversight of over 65 clinical trials globally, interfacing with Research and Development, Scientific Affairs, Business Development and Global Marketing.    

She currently serves on multiple working groups and/or task forces including the IFCC Publications and Communications Executive Board, the IFCC Working Group for the Clinical Application of Cardiac Bio-Markers (TF-CB), and the AACC Corporate Advisory Panel.  

She has a professional history in assay and system development, a background in biochemistry, and holds several patents in the area of sample to sample carryover.  

A new program that she developed and launched launch year involves a call to action for integrated clinical care teams to work together across healthcare silos to achieve measurably better healthcare performance for patients, payors, clinicians and entire health systems.
