
Dr Eugene Tee
Phd (Management) Associate Professor, Department of Psychology, HELP University, Malaysia
Dr. Eugene is presently Senior Lecturer and Research Coordinator at the Department of Psychology, HELP University. He attained his Ph.D. in Management from the University of Queensland in 2010 and has research interests in the study of emotions-related processes in both social and organizational interactions.
He has presented his research work in conferences internationally and regionally and has published his work on emotions in Leadership Quarterly, Advancing Relational Leadership Theory, Research on Emotions in Organizations and Followership in Action: Cases and Commentaries. Dr. Tee has presented his research work in conferences locally and internationally, on the influence of discrete emotions, emotions-related processes, and emotional intelligence.
He has also been featured on BFM’s “The Big Picture” discussing emotional intelligence in the workplace, providing suggestions on creating emotionally-healthy work environments, as well as “Night School,” where he discusses the importance, and impact of emotions in everyday life. Dr Eugene has also conducted emotions management training sessions for both the public and private sector organization
