Dr Zubin J. Daruwalla

Co-Founder, HiruX & PwC Singapore Health Industries Leader

Born with passion * Live with purpose * Make a difference

As a practicing clinician, I strongly believe that we should all be using technology to complement our clinical practices rather than replace them. While it is highly unlikely that technology will completely replace doctors, it is highly likely that doctors who do not embrace technology will be replaced by those who do.

I sit at the crossroads and convergence of Healthcare, MedTech and Pharma. Driven by passion and purpose, I am an orthopaedic surgeon by training and remain a practicing clinician while being the Health Industries Leader for PwC Singapore and a member of the PwC Global Health Leadership Team. My extensive cross-cultural experiences from having lived in Ireland, the United Kingdom and Singapore as well as my presenting research nationally and internationally have exposed me to a wide variety of cultures and life experiences that are often beneficial to my clients that span the Payor, Provider, Pharma, MedTech, V C/PE and Public Sector ecosystems.
