Yongji Fu is a Vice President of R&D at B. Braun Medical Group. He leads the R&D team in Infusion Therapy and Diabetes Care field in Asia Pacific and Europe. His experience broadly covered respiratory and cardiovascular diseases, diabetes, intravenous and subcutaneous infusion therapy, sleep disorder, patient mobility, and wound care. He is a worldwide recognized expert in medical sensing technologies, machine learning/deep learning algorithms, physiological modeling, and wireless body area networks. Prior to B. Braun, he worked at other global medical corporates such as Hillrom (part of Baxter), Becton Dickinson, and Siemens Medical Solutions. He has 50+ pending/issued patents and papers in biomedical sensing and algorithm development. He is a senior member of IEEE and served as a member of several conference technical committees. Yongji Fu received his BS degree in 1999 and MS degree in 2002 from Tsinghua University, China and PhD degree in 2008 from Oregon Health and Science University, US; all three degrees are in biomedical engineering.
